Riley & Tommy’s Newport Wedding Weekend
Riley & Tommy’s Newport Wedding Weekend
A Nor’easter to Remember
Riley and Tommy’s Newport wedding weekend came with a surprise Nor’easter. Even with the weather, Riley stayed calm and positive. Everything went to plan, and the day unfolded exactly as it needed to.
Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party
They kicked off the weekend at the Tennis Hall of Fame for their rehearsal dinner and welcome party. It was an easy, relaxed start to the celebrations before wedding day.
Getting Ready at the Airbnbs
The next morning, I met both Riley and Tommy at their separate Airbnbs. Riley spent the morning getting ready with her bridesmaids while Tommy and his groomsmen prepared at his suite. After finishing with Riley, I headed over to Tommy’s to capture him with his guys before everyone left for the ceremony.
Trolley to the Chapel
The groomsmen took the trolley to the chapel first. Riley and her bridal party followed shortly after. Because of the weather, her bridesmaids circled her with umbrellas, creating a real life rom-com moment
Ceremony at the Catholic Church
Riley and Tommy were married in the Catholic Church surrounded by family and friends. The ceremony was simple, classic, and full of the sweetest moments.
Portraits at Salve Regina
After the ceremony, we went to Salve Regina for portraits. Even in the wind, we captured some of the best photos of the day. We even had a Parent Trap style moment with a hat that made everyone laugh.
Reception at The Bohlin
Once portraits wrapped up, we headed to The Bohlin. The tent was fully enclosed and heated, which made it the perfect place to regroup from the weather. Riley and Tommy joined their guests toward the end of cocktail hour and then went straight into their first dance.
A Full Dance Floor
Their friends knew exactly how to celebrate. The dance floor stayed full all night and the energy never dipped.
A Weekend Full of Good Energy
Even with the Nor’easter, Riley and Tommy’s Newport wedding weekend felt upbeat and smooth. The weather added character, and the entire day still felt intentional and memorable.
